This is the exact conversation my wife and I had about 4 months ago when she announced to me that she wanted a maid. I personally thought it was a silly idea but her rationale was that since I have yard people that cut and maintain the lawn, she should have people to maintain the house.

While I understand that argument, I disagree with it. I figure keeping the house clean is what I had children for. Okay I am joking, slightly but for me house work is fun and a great workout. If you have a plan and work the plan, you should be able to get everything done in as little as an hour and a half. So the answer to the maid question was a resounding no.
