Coal and oil are polluting the planet. Not only by causing smog or poisoning fish and animals, but also with alarming rates of illness such as cancer, asthma and autism that are directly attributed to the presence of toxins in the atmosphere.

Solar energy is clean, renewable and non-polluting, because all it does is convert the sun’s rays into electricity (or heat, as applicable). What’s even better is that once your solar power equipment is paid off, which can take anywhere from a few months to a few years, there are no more bills to pay! At that point, your energy consumption is completely free (with perhaps the exception of occasional maintenance).
