Just be aware of the kill-on-site order in place, a broad sweeping license to kill, in fact, a requirement for anyone who catches a carp. No joke! If you catch a carp, even if you’re not fishing for one, you have to destroy the animal! New Zealand is taking drastic measures to curb the population, if not down right eliminate all together, of what they see as a destructive invasive species!
