Some time ago I began to repair my bathroom suite, and was astounded at the great assortment of bathroom furniture that was available on the web. The colours and designs leave one fighting to choose what to buy. I’m not the best decision maker at the best of times, and all this choice made it even more difficult.

What I had decided on prior to looking for toilets for sale, was that I needed to stay with one of the major brands such as Toto or American Standard. The toilet ranges are huge, the facility to coordinate all the bath room fixtures, and the after sales and spare parts service is generally quite good. I sought to obtain a toilet for sale that I would not have a problem finding parts for, or even replacing with a comparable matching model in years to come.

I had the misfortune a couple of years ago to obtain a low-cost stand alone toilet in a sale. Subsequent to installing it in my bath room it suffered a key parts failure and I was forced to have a long wait to get the substitute item. This is sometimes not a problem, but when you cannot make use of the only toilet in your house it can be a bit of a pain.

So, this time I decided to go with one of the foremost manufacturers to minimise the chance of this happening again. I had read that American Standard manufacture some good quality toilets, and while they are not necessarily the top of the range (though they provide budget to luxury models), they are a long established and trusted company.

At this point in time in time I am in the process of fitting the toilet unit I ordered, and will write a further article with particulars of the process.
