    ok so we have a …
    ok so we have a honda mini van with no trailer hitch so we use one that sets on trunk theres two straps near bumper the secon set goes right above rear lights but the third set of two is supposed to be on very top of trunk but the honda has a grove in top of trunk maken us have to put that straps near very top but on the side still is this safe all straps have hooks that go through crack bettween trunk door and main body.

    Doubt this any platform rack could put a lateral force anywhere close to what person would simply riding the bike.
