In Thelma and Louise, Do you think Louise was right to shoot the rapist?

Or should she have left it to the law? And why do you feel this way?

Louise was close enough that she could have — and maybe should have — just winged him like in the arm — enough to stop him cold in his tracks. He would have maybe been disabled for life and/or reminded of the incident for the rest of his days.
