“Your Baby Doesn’t Love You Anymore” written by Larry Weiss and originally performed by Ruby and the Romantics in 1965, was recorded by Karen Carpenter in 1980 as a work lead intended only for the musicians to familiarize themselves with the song and never meant to be released. After Karen Carpenter’s death on February 4, 1983, additional recording and mixing were done by Richard Carpenter to complete the track, and it was included in the album, Voice of the Heart, released later that year on A&M Records. It is another superb recording by Karen and Richard.
