Ladies/Women/Girls….Question?

Have you read Dr. Brian L. Weiss’ book (Only Love Is Real)?

Secondly, tell me if you believe that, somewhere in the world, there is someone (or several men) who COULD BE your soulmate?

Finally, do believe you could recognize your "soulmate" if you met him?

No, I haven’t read the book-I hadn’t heard of it until now.

I believe there are many people we could have a great shared life experience with, not just one.

I don’t think I believe in only one soulmate, and that love develops over time, so I don’t think I would recognize a ‘soulmate’.

Great questions!

I tend to think of "soul mate" as a negative thing…Why do I "recognize" or "relate" to this stranger? Probably, I fear, because they trigger deep and largely unconscious patterns I developed as a small child within my family of origin. And well, while I do love my family, I am trying to be(come) my self – buried long ago in stupid family dynamics. Replaced by largely reactionary behaviors taught to me long, long ago. In an effort to grow up, I try to avoid going down the same path over and over and over and over again. (And over again). To me a soul mate means familiar, and very often what is familiar is stunting to my growth. Could it be we have romanticized our fear of freedom?
