Does a man’s money make women feel safe? This questions in regards to the constant fear she lives with from him. So she claims.

Plus, should there be laws to protect men from these types of women, who have a history of filing police reports on past boyfriends? And should these women be arrested on extortion charges and do long prison terms?
If the courts made just one example of a woman who extorted men like tiger or Shaq.

Would women be so quick to file false police reports?

Would it stop these women from appearing on Ophra or the today show to fuel their own fame at the expense of those they victimize?

US courts do not require proof or evidence in these types of cases. It’s all based on a woman’s feelings and words.

Example. If my girlfriend and I were going through a hard time. Maybe she hangs up the phone on me. We’re bickering for a few days on and off and we break up.

Now’s she’s angry with me and decides to file a police report based on harassment.

Was I harassing her? No we were bickering on the phone. It’s all based on what the woman decides.

Yes, I felt harassed, even if a week earlier we were dating and making love.

My mother has 5 children living with her (under the age of 6), and her apartment is a DISASTER. I made food for them for breakfast one morning, and found an unidentifiable SOMETHING in her crockpot, and it was gross and moldy. Her apartment smells, she wastes all her money she gets from the government on her, and not the kids. I spent close to $100 at the thrift store to by clothes for them because that was all i had, and those are the only clothes they have. My little brother was SICK and he is only 2 years old, and she brought him to a relatives for the weekend with NO socks or winter coat! She can afford to pay a babysitter when she needs time to herself, but when my little brother was puking his guts out, with a high fever, she wouldnt take him to the doctors. I hate how she doesnt prioratize her children, and that I apparently need to provide for and parent my siblings.
They are not being taken care of as well as they should be… should i report her and take them into MY custody?

I am 18 years old, finished high school, and have a great support system of friends who already told me if i did choose to do this, they would completely have my back. I dont need my siblings going thru all the crap I went thru for the past 18 years. I live with my dad right now, but if i needed to do this, i could easily get an apartment. My step father passed away earlier this year… and im just really worried about the outcome of them.

and honestly, if i made one call to childrens aid, she would be screwed. I know your going to say " why would you want to do that to your mother and siblings?" but if you saw how much of a basket case my two brothers are, you would understand. I want them to live a normal, happy life. I told her as soon as my step dad passed that she should get them into counsulling…. but no. she didnt. She acts like a kid, and is very immature. I feel as if i am the one parenting her, and telling her "this is right this is wrong". She told me last month she thought she was pregnant… so i had to talk to my mom about safe sex! Isnt that supposed to be the other way around…?
She is very childish, and my siblings need an ADULT who will be there for them when they need someone, not someone who will completly blow them off.
I dont feel they are safe where they are right now. They are not supervised as much as they should be. They run into the kitchen, jump on everything, while she is off in her own little computer world. She pays attention to them when people are around, or if someone is taking pictures. Ugh.

If you want a safe short-term investment you can invest in a money markets, CD’s, savings accounts, or Treasury Bills. None of these are going to pay much higher than 5.5% at current interest rates. Safe short term investments are not going to be high paying. That’s just how the investment world works. If some one tells you they have a safe high-paying investment, they are probably a scam artist

So i have had a credit card back about 3 yrs ago that I’m pretty sure I never paid off in full. I ran a creidt report today and it shows the number of open accounts as 2 (I have two open credit cards currently). And the number of accounts in collection shows as 0. So I’m not sure if I paid it off back then or if the credit card company just gave up trying to collect the debt. But is it safe to assume that if it’s not on your credit report don’t worry about it? If not what else can I do to track down this debt. So far I ran a credit report for all three bureaus and also got my fico report done and none of them show this outstanding balance….

No….there could be a collection agency out there that still might try to eventually collect………Leave well enough alone and don’t make any inquiries about this that might lead to the collection agency finding you and starting collection activity.

Collection agencies can report this to your credit report as a paid collection (or charge-off is that’s what happened)….This would leave you with damaged credit in spite of having paid it….You may be able to negotiate a Pay for Delete agreement…but there’s no guarantee that they’d agree. I still think you’re better off leaving things "as is" for now….Believe me…if a collection agency picks this up…you’ll know about it.

Bush has been getting the Congress to keep throwing more and more money to Iraq… billions and billions of dollars sent to train and protect Iraqis at the expense of Americans’ security at home. :Looks like Iraqi soldiers ( al-Qaeda supporters among them, too????) get top preference. All the money spent since 9/11, and we’re still not safe? So Iraq, not US, is more important to the Bushies (and McCain, too) ??

it was never "safe" to begin with. Look at many of the neighborhoods in the states, many of them are not even safe from attacks from fellow Americans.
